Ren started in the industry as a BBC radio engineer, later working in a small recording studio in London making quality recordings of classical music.  He then joined Capital Radio when it started and was there for the memorable moment when it went on air, progressing to BMS, a company specialising in radio advertising and jingles, and finally moving North to join Metro Radio.  Over his working life he has recorded many top performers, including U2, The Four Tops, Gladys Knight, Gene Pitney, Boney M, Neil Sedaka and Lindisfarne.  The variety of experience gained proved ideal for setting up Axis Audio.

Coming from a background in educational administration, Claire was well qualified to look after the administrative and accounts side of the business.

Customers are many and varied, including composers, radio stations, schools & universities, churches, charities, shops, Health  & Education Authorities, as well as performers of all types.
